If you are interested in purchasing one of my prints please read on. Here is some basic information about the finished products, prices, dimensions, papers and inks used. If there is anything not covered that you wish to know, then just use the contact page and ask, I shall be only too happy to help.
For simplicity I print and sell all of my open-ended fine art photographic prints in four standard international paper sizes which are as follows;
A5 5.8 x 8.3 inches or 148 x 210 mm priced at £25.00
A4 8.3 x 11.7 inches or 210 x 297 mm priced at £42.00
A3 11.7 x 16.5 inches or 297 x 420 mm priced at £55.00
A2 16.5 x 23.4 inches or 420 x 594 mm priced at £72.00
All of the open ended and limited edition fine art photographic prints can be purchased directly from the galleries on this website where applicable by clicking on the £ logo and then following the instructions. Once an order has been received the images are individually printed, inspected, packaged and mailed to order.
I source what I consider to be the best fine art paper for use in these prints at the time. I provide a choice of two paper finishes, a semi gloss or a matte;
Firstly for a traditional photographic silver halide finish I at present favour PermaJet Oyster paper. Permajet Oyster has a subtle pearl/lustre finish with a heavy base weight of 271gsm giving it a true photographic paper texture and finish.
For a those who prefer a more artistic feel a matte option is also available. Printed on Hahnemühle 308gsm Photo Rag. A smooth bright paper with 100% cotton rag content making it highly archival.
Both of these papers are high quality heavy duty paper and are wonderfully tactile to hold and feel.
All fine art prints are printed using Epson UltraChrome K3 Ink with Vivid Magenta. Using 9 pigment inks to give prints a very wide colour gamut and exceptional light fastness. Three levels of black deliver a perfectly balanced grey scale and smooth tonal gradations for the best results on your chosen matte or photo paper.
All of my open ended and limited edition prints are printed with a white border which will be slightly larger along the bottom of the print. My signature is applied in black to the bottom right of the print on the white border, or as a black or light grey signature within the pint itself unless otherwise specified by the customer.
As I crop many of my images during the post processing to produce the very best visual effect that I can, they may vary slightly in dimensions within the print/canvas space resulting in a variation in the border size of some individual prints such as panoramic prints, or any images cropped to a square format. Square format prints will generally be printed with a much larger border to fit aesthetically within the dimensions of the "A" sized papers.
If you wish to discuss any customisation or personalisation of an image please let me know how I can help. I can print and trim images so that they are border free and the signature would then be moved to within the image. This would result in less uniform dimensions.
If stated as being a panoramic image, panoramic paper sizes will be available. If printed on the international A sized papers there will be larger than average white borders as seen in the below image.
A label with the title, date and my name and any other relevant information concerning the print is supplied with the print and may be applied to the back of the print, to the choice of frame. Also included is a letter containing all the relevant information concerning the image and care instructions. I am happy to discuss any special requests for printing back labels including salutations or for example birthday messages can be discussed via the contact page.
Limited edition prints as and when available are priced separately and are individually numbered and stamped and come with a letter of authenticity.
Frames, Mounts and Canvas Prints
If you wish to have a print framed or mounted, or have it printed as a canvas, acrylic or metal print, then I have an account with Fine Art America, just follow the link, find the piece of art you want framed or printed on different media and follow the order instructions. The print will be printed by one of their partner laboratories processed and shipped directly to you from them and be covered by their terms and conditions. If you cannot find one of my prints that you are interested in on the Fine Art America site please contact me and I shall add it to that site for you straight away. Open ended fine art prints only.
Prints purchased via Fine Art America will not be printed with my signature or come with back a label or image information, they may also be cropped to meet the specific Fine Art America print sizes and ratios. As I have nothing to do with the printing, paper choice, or quality control I am unable to guarantee the finished quality of these printed images. All images purchased through Fine Art America will fall under their terms and conditions. Fine Art America
Shipping is via Royal mail. All shipping prices within the UK are included in the price of the print and use the Royal Mail 1st class signed for service. All international shipping is with the Royal Mail international tracked service and incurs additional cost as set out in the shopping cart section.
Purchasing Event Prints
Due to the greater volume and variation in print sizes (these are not fine art prints) requested when photographing events, once I have processed the images, the printing and shipping of event photography images are undertaken by a third party photographic laboratory.
The purchasing process is the same. Using my website, and using the specific client event gallery of your event. Choose the images you wish to purchase and add them to your cart and then the Partner lab will print and ship those prints to you.
